Canterberry Crossing Metropolitan District (the “District”) is a Title 32 Special District that has been established for the purpose of financing and installing street, park and recreation, water, and sanitation improvements of the District; and all other improvements or services permitted by Article 1, Title 32, C.R.S. (collectively, the “Public Improvements and Services”), except as specifically limited by the Second Modified Service Plan for the District, approved by the Town of Parker on June 4, 2001, as it may be further modified or amended from time to time (the “Service Plan”).

The Public Improvements and Services are for the use and benefit of the residents and taxpayers of the District. The District is located in the Town of Parker, Colorado. The District is a quasi-municipal political subdivision of the State of Colorado authorized to provide specialized services that the Town of Parker does not provide.

The District may incur a maximum debt of $11,000,000. The District may impose a mill levy on taxable property within its boundaries, and may use various other revenue source authorized by law, including fees and interest incomes, to repay such debt.

The District may assess a maximum mill levy of 35 mills, as adjusted after March 4, 1996, to repay such debt.

Under the Service Plan, the District must file an Annual Report to the Town of Parker.

The District’s boundaries overlap with the boundaries of the Douglas County School District Re-1; Douglas County; South Metro Fire Rescue Fire Protection District; Parker Water & Sanitation District; Douglas Public Library District; Town of Parker; Urban Drainage & Flood Control District; Cherry Creek Basin Water Quality Authority; Urban Drainage & Flood South Platte; Regional Transportation District; and Douglas County Soil Conservation District.
